What I saw when I enter the class this morning...

I am 15 years old now, which means that I have grown up.

I know I may not be the best among the others, but at least I tried!
I do not dare to say that I put in the most effort, but I can say I did put effort to it!

MARRIAGE

When I got home that night as my wife served dinner, I held her hand and said, I've got something to tell you. She sat down and ate quietly. Again I observed the hurt in her eyes.

Suddenly I didn't know how to open my mouth. But I had to let her know what I was thinking. I want a divorce. I raised the topic calmly.

She didn't seem to be annoyed by my words, instead she asked me softly, why?

I avoided her question. This made her angry. She threw away the chopsticks and shouted at me, you are not a man! That night, we didn't talk to each other. She was weeping. I knew she wanted to find out what had happened to our marriage. But I could hardly give her a satisfactory answer; she had lost my heart to Jane. I didn't love her anymore. I just pitied her!

With a deep sense of guilt, I drafted a divorce agreement which stated that she could own our house, our car, and 30% stake of my company.

She glanced at it and then tore it into pieces. The woman who had spent ten years of her life with me had become a stranger. I felt sorry for her wasted time, resources and energy but I could not take back what I had said for I loved Jane so dearly. Finally she cried loudly in front of me, which was what I had expected to see. To me her cry was actually a kind of release. The idea of divorce which had obsessed me for several weeks seemed to be firmer and clearer now.

The next day, I came back home very late and found her writing something at the table. I didn't have supper but went straight to sleep and fell asleep very fast because I was tired after an eventful day with Jane.

When I woke up, she was still there at the table writing. I just did not care so I turned over and was asleep again.

In the morning she presented her divorce conditions: she didn't want anything from me, but needed a month's notice before the divorce. She requested that in that one month we both struggle to live as normal a life as possible. Her reasons were simple: our son had his exams in a month's time and she didn't want to disrupt him with our broken marriage.

This was agreeable to me. But she had something more, she asked me to recall how I had carried her into out bridal room on our wedding day.

She requested that every day for the month's duration I carry her out of our bedroom to the front door ever morning. I thought she was going crazy. Just to make our last days together bearable I accepted her odd request.

I told Jane about my wife's divorce conditions. . She laughed loudly and thought it was absurd. No matter what tricks she applies, she has to face the divorce, she said scornfully.

My wife and I hadn't had any body contact since my divorce intention was explicitly expressed. So when I carried her out on the first day, we both appeared clumsy. Our son clapped behind us, daddy is holding mommy in his arms. His words brought me a sense of pain. From the bedroom to the sitting room, then to the door, I walked over ten meters with her in my arms. She closed her eyes and said softly; don't tell our son about the divorce. I nodded, feeling somewhat upset. I put her down outside the door. She went to wait for the bus to work. I drove alone to the office.

On the second day, both of us acted much more easily. She leaned on my chest. I could smell the fragrance of her blouse. I realized that I hadn't looked at this woman carefully for a long time. I realized she was not young any more. There were fine wrinkles on her face, her hair was graying! Our marriage had taken its toll on her. For a minute I wondered what I had done to her.

On the fourth day, when I lifted her up, I felt a sense of intimacy returning. This was the woman who had given ten years of her life to me.

On the fifth and sixth day, I realized that our sense of intimacy was growing again. I didn't tell Jane about this. It became easier to carry her as the month slipped by. Perhaps the everyday workout made me stronger.

She was choosing what to wear one morning. She tried on quite a few dresses but could not find a suitable one. Then she sighed, all my dresses have grown bigger. I suddenly realized that she had grown so thin, that was the reason why I could carry her more easily.

Suddenly it hit me... she had buried so much pain and bitterness in her heart. Subconsciously I reached out and touched her head.

Our son came in at the moment and said, Dad, it's time to carry mom out. To him, seeing his father carrying his mother out had become an essential part of his life. My wife gestured to our son to come closer and hugged him tightly. I turned my face away because I was afraid I might change my mind at this last minute. I then held her in my arms, walking from the bedroom, through the sitting room, to the hallway. Her hand surrounded my neck softly and naturally. I held her body tightly; it was just like our wedding day.

But her much lighter weight made me sad. On the last day, when I held her in my arms I could hardly move a step. Our son had gone to school. I held her tightly and said, I hadn't noticed that our life lacked intimacy.

I drove to office.... jumped out of the car swiftly without locking the door. I was afraid any delay would make me change my mind...I walked upstairs. Jane opened the door and I said to her, Sorry, Jane, I do not want the divorce anymore.

She looked at me, astonished, and then touched my forehead. Do you have a fever? She said. I moved her hand off my head. Sorry, Jane, I said, I won't divorce. My marriage life was boring probably because she and I didn't value the details of our lives, not because we didn't love each other anymore. Now I realize that since I carried her into my home on our wedding day I am supposed to hold her until death do us apart.

Jane seemed to suddenly wake up. She gave me a loud slap and then slammed the door and burst into tears.

I walked downstairs and drove away. At the floral shop on the way, I ordered a bouquet of flowers for my wife. The salesgirl asked me what to write on the card. I smiled and wrote, I'll carry you out every morning until death do us apart.

That evening I arrived home, flowers in my hands, a smile on my face, I run up stairs, only to find my wife in the bed - dead.
My wife had been fighting CANCER for months and I was so busy with Jane to even notice. She knew that she would die soon and she wanted to save me from the whatever negative reaction from our son, in case we push thru with the divorce.-- At least, in the eyes of our son--- I'm a loving husband....

The small details of your lives are what really matter in a relationship. It is not the mansion, the car, property, the money in the bank. These create an environment conducive for happiness but cannot give happiness in themselves. So find time to be your spouse's friend and do those little things for each other that build intimacy. Do have a real happy marriage!

All of a sudden, I missed my lower sec life...
Probably is bacause I am no longer in the same class with those jokers anymore...
I can't say that 3A is bad or boring, I CAN'T. In fact, they are wonderful & fantastic!
You all might be wondering why all of a sudden I miss that kind of life.
It is because of Jeffrey & Wei Guang.
While waiting for Ms Heng to come, I lay my head down on my table, resting.
There comes the 2 boys disturbing me again.
Although I was quite irritated, but I did not scold them.
I know they mean well.
I get irritated when they started quarrelling in front of me and I called them to keep quiet,
However, it makes me remember SBF.
Can you all still rmb? Always having you 2 to cheer me up and listening to my problems, although you all did not solve it and even make a mess out of it, I did not mind. Instead, I find it fun. In a very bad mood today during chinese lesson? Or rather I am just showing attitude to some people. Seriously dun really like chinese lesson, not because it is boring, teacher not good or what. It's just some people there. I tolerated them since term 1. I talk to them patiently, not throwing my temper on them. Everyone's patient has a limit to it. In the chinese class it is like entering a battlefield, I will be so worn out everytime. Instead of being tired out, why not I just sit at the back, keep quiet and everything is so peaceful... You all understand? The moment you all entered the class, all you asked was 'You have stead ah?' I dun want to answer this question. Not trying to deny or admit it, is just that it is my life, my problem. To acccept it a not is also none of ur business!

Some people said that I had changed a lot right after the holiday. I really do think that I have changed. Changing for the better or worse? I think both. I am starting to be able to think for others now, help out each other & starting to share. The bad thing is, I am becoming a spendthrift. Spending $ on branded stuff now. I am starting to keep all problems to myself, instead of expressing it out.

Band self prac today. As usual, gossip there... Celeste is seriously desperate to find a boyfriend. As usual I will be like influencing Zhi wen about it. I told him ' must go find 1 now! if not next year too late alrdy!' guess what he said. ' I have alrdy gone thru this period.............'

Change of partner today...
To think of it, I actually volunteer to sit with Jun Ye out of lazyness to shift my table.
Can't say that I am regret of it. Somehow didn't affect me much either...
In fact, I get to interact with different people, people like Som, Jansen, Erwin & Laksmi is just the row beside me.
As you all know, Jun Ye always run around the class, so Laksmi can sit with us!
We gossiped & Jansen was telling us why he was absent from school ytd!

Had A-math & physic test today! A-math was quite okay, 21/23. Physic was bad!
Som did not do very well for this math test and guess what Laksmi said: Because I wasn't beside her to transfer to her the 'power'! WTH?

Stayed till around 4 to help Mdm Tok with the remedial ws. It was tiring! Went Band after that...
Jonathan Tay was in a very bad mood for some reasons, so bad till he treat me cinnamon melts! NICE!

I am in a very bad mood today!
Face was as 'black' as charcoal during chinese class...
I was being very kind to clean the white board for the next lesson,
there are bound to be some lazy bums who refuse to get their bums off the chair!

I cannot take it anymore! I was tired, stressed out & moodless! I just cannot take it!
Out of anger, I simply put back the eraser and I went back to my place!

Guess what! I found out something!
It is so much peaceful without having to sit to see behind that 2 people. :)

For the rest of the day, i was very harsh towards people.

Had virtual lab lesson in the red room today!
Me & yen were lucky enough to get a computer that works well and doesn't lag.
The grp behind behind us, count yourself unlucky! But erwin is sure to be very automatic as to turn back as shared with us!
As usual, we will quarrel. This time we were quarrelling about the quantity of the phenotheline. Seriously, we dun get along well!

After sch, went to help Mdm Tok with Guan Jie. Went to band immediately...

Fun Day today! Played Rounders for PE.
I love the chinese lesson today! It is about the Chinatown Heritage Centre.
& it will definitely make me remember when I was in primary 6 when I visited there...
We even went to visit a granny who speaks cantonese and tell us all her lifetime!
All those beautiful memories are not easy to forget!

Ms Heng has promised us to bring us go, probably next week!

Band farewell venue has been changed due to some reasons...

Ms heng talked to me after the chinese lesson. Talked to me about the my compo writing. It's not that i hate writing compo, i just simply find it too troublesome and i always change my topic for some stupid reasons! She told me that she has gone through that period of time too. If i can't solve my problem now, it will be too late when i reach sec4.

My problems are...

-I can't decide on what topic to write on.

-Always changing topic

1st: Obviously my studies... My target for my end of year, at least a pass in every subject. LAKSMI CAHYADY is definitely scaring me the e math topic, trigo. Having more tuition, no a bad idea after all. Shall see about it. Going tuition is not tired at all for me, instead i am having Fun thr!
2nd: Obviously Band... Once join, there is no turning back for me alrdy. SYF next yr. Sometimes i really find myself being a major is a serious mistake. Not an easy job. One prob after another. If i am given another choice, i will definitely stay as a Librarian and of course Recruit Officer.
3rd: definitely Family & Friends.

Having 3 prorities is enough... The rest shall talk later...
And i am very happy with the present ME! :)

I am sick, seriously sick. Dying...
Ytd i managed to get myself out of the bed early in the morning to go for self prac. made some promise and i dun want to make any empty promises, drag myself out of bed. Set up the instrument twice to join them for combine. Spend my time in the storeroom with ley how, joke around. hah.
The best thing about the QMs are they never failed to surprise me with their stuff in their cupboard. Found party poppers, i have never played that before! catch boon go out and play with me! Still rmbing one time when small little piece of wood poke thru my hand, my first reaction was...
Ahh! Ley how, help! All QM crowded around me, thinking of different to pull it out. Scary! they actually wanted to use a screw and dig it out! i noe they were joking. but jonathan tay actually say to use a scissor, and he wasn't joking about it. He took the scissors out, and when he want to poke it, Ms Lai came. Go home and use a needle. Hand almost get 'paralysed'.

It has been a long time since i last post...
Well, nothing interesting recently. As usual, at home twitting & chatting; out with friends for movies & of course BAND!

watch with LAKSMI CAHYADY furry vengeance last mon. Boring! Almost fell asleep in the theatre. But there is an indian uncle in front of us laughing! His laughter is funny, that keeps me awake.

Just finished the test. I PASSED! At least there is a test i can pass without looking. My section & my sec1 has definitely make me proud! All pass the test! :)

Suppose to attend a steamboat session at guo long house, but sick! didnt attend. promise to make it up to you all! :)

Went with soh wei to Geylang Serai CC to ask for permission to use their space to the YMCA products. Soh wei accompanied me to sp to meet Pearlyn & guo long, as usual both are late. HAH! Ordered B.M.T

Rushed back to band, going to be late!
Mr Tan & Mr Ng went like 'BOOM', i obviously went quiet.
All conductors went out, a moment later mr ng called me & zhi wen to go to the red room and look for them.
Had a meeting with them.

Had a test for the SL only. I am the last SL to take the test.

Rush to the Chinese Workshop. It is the last day! Ms Heng is treating those who came to attend the workshop today on the next Wednesday!

No matter what I tell you, you just couldn't listen... You say you hate it. Wants to give it a skip, but is it worth it? I can tell you that the answer is definitely a 'NO'. Holding a person back without her heart is like just getting myself a machine. No life & No love in it. Will she be happy? Or we should just be happy ourselves without even caring about her? Will I be able to teach her life lessons? Will she be able to learn it? She will be just wasting all her time thr. All i can do now before i leave is to grab her on the shore, making sure that she doesn't make a wrong decision & let her regret for her rest of her life...

Should I say it is quite a bit well done, or rather a great improvement!
Really a great improvement for me... Although failed some, but somehow still quite happy about the reults!

English- improved!
E math- maintain!
Chinese- maintain!
A math- improved! but failed

Geography- Improved( wonderful)!
Social studies- maintain & failed!

Have lunch at bbt with yen today. Cooked noodles for her. She was afraid that her cup of noodles will end up like the one that kong ate. She counts herself lucky! Not many people get to try my cooking in their whole life. :p

Went to chemical car, saw a fishball bouncing in the DnT room. Tease him the whole day. Jansen's grp manage to finish it and get to do the test run. He was like shaking and looking left and right, when he released it, it went "BOMB". The bottle simply just split open. Acid just splashed on his face. All the grp members effort were gone. Jansen sticking. Jonathan & Erwin painting. Yu wen & zhi wen cutting.

What happen today...

Wake up early in the morning. Meet Donny & Fernando at the CC. Saw them playing basketball, not wanting to play so sat at a corner twit. Went to the hall and played badminton. Me & Fernando paired up VS the Strong Donny! haha. as usual Donny will still win us. Tired after playing, settle down and gossiped.

Went to meet Jolene after bathing. Went KHS. The teachers there said that i have grow up! Glad! Ate there... The canteen was still the same as before, even the uncles & aunties there too! Some aunties still rmb us. Can't find Mrs Hue-Tan, so left 1st and find soh wei.

Find mdm tok to help her out by arranging all her papers. We did that in less than 1hr but talk for 3hrs... Mdm Tok is sure someone good to talk with! went for lunch before going yen's house.

ended up talking there... but sure get our chemical car design out!

Exams are finally over... Many things sure have happen this few weeks. Dun want to rmb those bad things. All i can say is... I AM DEAD MEAT! will fail A-MATH, PHYSIC & CHEMISTRY. There goes my _.

A change of place due to exam period. Having Sucheera sitting beside was superb! After every exams, i would turning back to look at NAN and tell her 'no hope' alrdy. She will be laughing mad. Thinking that the exam period would be the best period to save $. It is definitely a wrong thinking. I totally overspent, went out lunch with the indo almost everyday. A big hole burnt in my pocket.
Too many things are coming up!

Bandprac & self prac are resuming next week. Sure miss the Seniors, Juniors & my Darling, Trombone! How are you, my dear? Preparing for the upcoming competition, SIBF. Work Hard towards it!

Chemical Car Competition is next Saturday, 22 May. A bit rush. have to find the bottle which is quite rare to seenow... went to StarGek which is just opposite sch, to look for a wheel. 2 wheels cst $10, a car has got 4 wheels, which means it will cost $20. Should go up to the cupboard and find since i rmb that we have some leftovers when my parents set up a tamiya shop a few yrs ago. Will have to stay back for the whole of next week to test run the car, which means no Band for me & zhi wen for next week! Candy, take care & good luck! haha

went out with some juniors... terry, jeslyn, jie xin, yuan ling, alice and jia jia.
went to eat subway at sp. it was all their 1st time to eat subway. in the end, all of us ate cold cut trio. walk to city plaza after that... went to the same shop that i bought my white long-sleeve shirt. haha. get some discount frm the uncle. ususal price should be $16, NOW $12 per piece! usual CHEAP! while the uncle was checking whether thr is any more stocks available in the factory as he has only 1 left... so we went to shop for the black flat shoes, just opposite. How convenient! get discount oso. usual price $19.90, NOW $18. still not cheap enough yet... i nv knew that the juniors leg were so big, except for some...

get my report book back today... not very much traumatised as i am metally well-prepared at home alrdy. failed 3 subjects! mr ng saw my results and tell me his results when he was in secondary school.

woo! got new equipment in band! CUTE! harmony director. get to use and touch it juz now. teach junior as usual... a bit tired when it comes to teaching, often gets headache, always wishing to go to the main back to prac with them... so i have mypin all my hope in JUAQIN!

went sp with boon yu, maggie & joo hoe. eat & joke as usual while waiting for jeff to call me. get angry while waiting and went home. jeff call later, went thr, interview some people. lol. i was like critising those who doesnt want to be interviewed by ME especially the macphersonians! drink bbt thr... taro ice-blend! NICE! should introduce it to maggie!

phew...! lucky a math test tmr was being cancelled! if not i will have sleepless night tonight!

2 seniors had seen 1 things they have never seen that happen in their whole band life...
1) their 1st time seeing a trombone that flip 360 degrees!
2) their 1st time seeing an original score that tore!

afterall all this things that happen all related to ME! it was my TROMBONE! it was a score that belongs to the librarian... HEART BROKEN!

ST JOHN ISLAND

back frm camp finally... quite fun but tired!

Day1:

reach there by boat
have lunch. the rice is hard, dishes are cold
proceed to water rafting, the boat doesnt seems to be moving!
went bath! nobody inside... take my own sweet time to bath
went for dinner, as usual rice is hard

night activity! KIDNAPPING
carry laksmi up to the camp base, heavy. arms breaking!
had supper & milo
went bath again

Day2:

went to the jetty to enjoy the breeze
whole sec3 exercise, run up and down. down the slope is good, up the slope can die
had foot drills
had lunch, rice was especially HARD this time.
practice the camp fire performance!
had physical activity. run for a long distance & had to do AT LEAST 20 push-ups, 20 sit-ups & 20 starjumps
had casualty challenge, zhi wen was the casualty
had dinner...
went bathing
CAMPFIRE!
performance time! HUSH! HUSH! HUSH! HUSH!
talk to laksmi till 0025. soh wei said that we talk too loud, she has heard our secrets!

Day3z

wake up & pack up!
went to the basketball court.
had breakfast!
area cleaning. girls cleaned the GIRL's showeroom wheresas boys are suppose to clean the GIRL's toilet. in the end, laksmi, soh wei, yen and went to help the boys after cleaning our area
DEBRIEF

waited for an hour for the bus to arrive
went sp with maggie, boon yu, kong & joo hoe
saw that alex was next door! my lucky day! help me carry my sleeping bag home! FAT HOPE!
went home with alex, maggie n joohoe.
half way thru, alex cant take it anymore so both of us took the bus home

before that was 2 period of chemistry practical, so rare that it go so smoothly for me. i think for the 1st time, although i make a little mistake... Som n nat was scary, i like a bit siao when nat experiment go _.

went SP after sch to find 2 ah soh, maggie n regine. ate pasta mania. BUDGET! the 3 of us talk till we get angry n want to cry like so ps lah! went popular to buy PENS! my pens seems to be spoilt everytime i drop on the floor, even the pilot pen! all my $ is going to be all spent on pens!

went out dinner again till 11+ at bukit gombak... cannot rmb wat is the name of that restaurant.

tell the juniors the band rules before letting them leave! since some juniors are doing something not very acceptable. jonathan tay beside me like so happy, encouraging me to scold them even more. he even clap for me like as if i cannot scold them like that. told mr yea about it, he say 我已经达到最高境界了! haha

actually plan to go home right after band since i have been doing it since cny, have to return it back! take turns to go home early... ite went bbt with the chuns n ah soh. went home with regine, maggie n _... haha. fuuny situation in the bus! as usual me n regine like siao in the bus again. laugh till both our face turn red!

Went to sch in red! Change in and out, pe n red shirt. Pe played badminton with fionna n pair with her to play with jeff n zhi wen. Fun! Archie took pic of us playing... After performance, mdm tok wants us to take picture like frm the 2nd lvl to the 3rd lvl! Went band afterwards...

SUNDAY, 14 FEB!
Happy chinese new yr n valentine day! Same routine for every year...
Went to granduncle house after visiting my grandma. Went down to our restaurant to eat... Reach home at around 10. Regine called! Haha. We were discussing about our khs boys n girls, they are all 俊男美女.

MONDAY, 15 FEB!
Went aunt house, watch stephen chow's movies. Love it! Stay till 6 then go back home n prepare to go hotel grand pacific. Went to eat ah yat abalone to eat!

TUESDAY, 16 FEB!
went sentosa. not many people. went ecp long beach for Dinner, not very nice.

Wednesday, 17 FEB!
rush back home immediately to go out for dinner! went Orchard Cathay Restaurant for the Company's boss dinner.

went back home early, wants to settle things that have existed for a long time...

me n maggie is like singing our hearts out the new year songs!

thought that today pe will be like playing badminton, planning to show off my skills to yen yen. in the did 1 round of running, and stretching which make my elbow hurt till now. mr riffai say that 2.4km run will on FRI-faint! imagine if run run then fall down? injured my knees n elbow for new year? dun want to live anymore...

after sch,went for self practice, drag alex thr oso. hehe then both of us were like fighting inside melody room when he go out, i hide his bag behind the piano n his a math book is like so obvious lah so hide his book at the whiteboard thr n i totally forget about his book n went bbt. he called me.
so later he is collecting frm me when he came back frm Tampiness. lol. he went to buy his new year clothes! shouldnt stop him since i bought mine alrdy...

maggie almost get rape today! but thanks to me n boon yu rescue, only 1 button on top of her blouse drop. went bbt n get a needle n thread to sew for her. seamstress ng chun hui to the rescue! haha

his birthday is coming... lucky save enough $ for the present alrdy... my laptop mouse is like going to break into 2 pieces... not lanning to buy want coz he say he will be buying for me!

all very shy, like me when i was sec1! hehe but thr was 1 very cute girl, who tells me that she dun dare play trombone because it is BIG! faint flat on the floor... lips bleed a lot till the whole mouthpiece is all blood! while playing the euphonium, turning heren thr n knock until my lips! PAIN! gonna memorise their names to noe them better...

CCA ORIENTATION WAS SUPERB YTD(the band performance)

didnt haf lunch for ytd, boon oso didnt had her lunch because mdm tok let her off late, so wait till dinner then eat... taking a good care of my uni, scared dirty then not smart alrdy.

well, many has been facing relationship problems... shouldnt talk too much of this.

ytd orientation everybody was very very high! i believe this helps a lot in the band bonding & many juniors has promise me to come band!

now left with the CCA fair, date has been changed again. dun noe how to start at all...
